Cookies policy

Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device. They let sites remember settings, measure traffic, and improve the experience. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, which this policy treats the same as cookies.

It is worth separating these up front, because they are unrelated systems:

• Our website, attravo.com, which you are reading now. This is our marketing site and it uses analytics.
• Our Shopify apps, which run inside a merchant’s storefront. These set only functional storage and carry no analytics cookies from our marketing site.

Nothing from our website analytics reaches a merchant’s store, and nothing from a merchant’s store reaches our website analytics.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people read and which links they click, so we know what to improve. It sets first-party cookies (typically _ga and a property-specific _ga_* cookie) that hold a randomly generated identifier and expire after up to two years.

• We collect page views, referrer, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type, and clicks on outbound links such as “Book a call” and our App Store listings.
• We do not run advertising or remarketing pixels, we do not use Google Signals or cross-device advertising features, and we do not sell or share this data with advertising networks.
• This is website measurement only. It never includes merchant store data or shopper data from our apps.

Functional

• Form submission state, so you do not see the same waitlist or contact form twice after submitting it.
• Interface preferences, stored locally in your browser.

Our apps run inside merchants’ storefronts and admin. Storage set by our apps is scoped to that merchant’s store and is limited to functional purposes:

• Drawer Cart: tracks the open state of the cart drawer and add-to-cart signals for analytics scoped to that shop.
• Bundle Builder: stores partial bundle selections so shoppers do not lose progress on refresh.
• Product Quiz: stores quiz progress and completion state for the session.

None of our apps set cross-site advertising cookies, and none share data with advertising networks. Merchants are responsible for surfacing this in their own store cookie notice and for honoring shopper consent choices in their jurisdiction.

Third parties that may set cookies in these contexts:

• Google Analytics: traffic measurement on attravo.com only.
• Shopify: session management when our apps load inside the Shopify admin.
• Google Cloud: session affinity and load balancer cookies for application infrastructure.
• Calendly: when you click “Book a call,” Calendly may set cookies governed by its own policy.

Each of these appears in the sub-processors section of our privacy policy with its purpose and processing regions.

• Browser controls: most browsers let you block or clear cookies in their privacy settings. Blocking all cookies may break parts of our apps such as the cart drawer, bundle progress, and quiz state.
• Google Analytics opt-out: install Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, which blocks Analytics on every site including ours.
• Global Privacy Control: we honor GPC signals where applicable.
• Ask us: email support@attravo.io and we will action your request directly.

We do not sell personal data and do not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.

We update this policy when our use of cookies changes. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision.
